However, this seemed to be more of a problem with a tower than with us. There didn’t really seem to be any problems with the game mode as a whole, aside from us getting the same truths and dare as time went on. Serenade a member of the group (this is a link to a video I took of my roommate Maddie serenading our roommate Kai) Meanest thing you’ve done to someone who didn’t deserve it?Ĭreate a 30 second opera about a member of the group and perform it Make sure you’re good at the game before designing a tower like this, or an Engineer major, or even a Physics major. 10/10 would NOT recommend for inexperienced Jenga players. ![]() As you can see, this one also ended up being really top heavy. This was one of our final designs before we went back to the standard Jenga design. So when we would go to grab a block, the one above it would fall. This design actually ended up working pretty well for us, but over time got really complicated because of how it was on an angle. This was the prototype for one of our designs that ended up changing because it ended up being a bit too top heavy, and really awkward in design. I built it when my roommates were not in the lounge so they wouldn’t know where any of the truth or dare blocks were. This was the aforementioned first tower that got tea and vodka on the blocks. Here are some of the examples of the kind of towers we built: It does exist however, and I will gladly show it upon request (because that was not forbidden). Sadly they did not give me permission to post the video that I took on any social media site. It’s not one of the best pictures I’ve ever had taken of me, but that was the dare, so alas it had to be done.Īnother one of the dares that my roommate Kai got was “Do the Worm”. One of the dares I got was “Have the group pose you in an embarrassing way and take a picture” My roommates and I also added a rule where if you opt to not do one of the truths or dares, you were publicly humiliated. No one ended up getting a Vodka soaked block, sadly. We amended the rules so if someone got a block that was stained by the tea and Vodka, they would get an additional two points. Our first round of playing, when the tower fell, my roommate Nicole’s tea spilled and caused her tea and Vodka to get one some of the blocks. My roommates and I actually had the chance to play over the weekend and here are some of the things that happened: ![]() The truth and dare blocks are double sided so that upon the conclusion of the round they can be flipped over to provide maximum originality.a truth on one side and a dare on the other) give the players an option All truth and dare blocks are double sided. If someone doesn’t like the truth or dare options, they can appeal to the other players and they can decide whether or not it has to be done. ![]() Obviously, if someone pulls a block with nothing on it, then they don’t have to do anything. However, on the blocks that have a truth and dare, they have the option of which one they want to do.If a person pulls out a block with a truth or a dare they HAVE to do it.There is a predetermined number of truths and dares: 18 (6 truths, 6 dares, 6 truth and dares) and they are mixed in with the other blocks. The winner is the last person to successfully remove and place a block. The game ends when the tower falls, or if any piece falls from the tower other than the piece being knocked out to move to the top.Any block that is moved, HAS to be returned to its original location BEFORE removing another block.Whoever built the tower is the person who goes first. The tower can be as crazy (or as boring) as the players wish.To do this, I took 18 blocks out of my Jenga game and put some truth, dares, and truths and dares on each side of the blocks. ![]() For the game modification portion of the project, I made Truth or Dare Jenga.
